Thomas Binetter focuses his practice on wills, trusts, and estate litigation, helping families safeguard legacies and avoid the costly fallout of poor planning. With dual legal training in Australia and California, Thomas brings a global perspective and a deeply personal commitment to elder law, informed by firsthand experience with the impact of flawed estate documents.
Before concentrating exclusively on wills and estates, Thomas gained broad legal experience across litigation and transactional practice. He has advised on trust disputes, probate proceedings, real property conflicts, and commercial leasing, serving clients through firms including Breene & Breene Solicitors, Hollander & Hollander, and Jeffer Mangels Butler & Mitchell.
Thomas holds a Juris Doctor from the University of New South Wales and two undergraduate degrees from the University of Sydney—Commerce (First Class Honors) and Arts. He is admitted to the State Bar of California, the Supreme Court of New South Wales, and the High Court of Australia.
Outside of law, Thomas is a seasoned guitarist and founding member of the Grammy-nominated post-rock band Sleepmakeswaves. A devoted traveler and whisky enthusiast, he’s visited 39 countries and is aiming for 100.
