Daniel R. Weiner

Daniel R. Weiner leads the firm’s probate and estate litigation strategy across California. Dan brings legal perspective to California families navigating complex estate issues from trust administration and estate tax exposure to special needs and Medi-Cal asset protection planning.

Before launching the firm, Dan spent over a decade at global law firms Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. There, he advised Fortune 500 companies and major investment banks, including on emerging legal issues in cryptocurrency, a field in which his published analysis appeared in the International Financial Law Review.

Dan earned his law degree from the University of Birmingham (UK) and holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Duke Law School. Originally from London, he now lives in San Diego with his wife and their two young children, Aiden and Emma.
